From our family to yours, we welcome you to Foodland Mercado. Since 1989, our family has lived in and served the San Diego County community by offering a full line of specialty, Hispanic and other cultural food offerings. We welcome you to visit one of our five locations in and around San Diego.
Our full service departments offer a wide variety of handmade specialty food items made fresh from scratch on site.
Tortilleria
Made fresh in store throughout the day, we offer 100% freshly ground corn tortillas that are crafted with absolutely no additives or preservatives. We use just 3 simple ingredients corn, water, lime. We proudly feel that we make the best corn tortillas in the county, we hope you will agree. Some locations also now bake hot fresh flour tortillas on site as well homemade corn chips, tostada shells, sopes and prepared masa for tamales

Panaderia y Pasteleria (Bakery)
Our bakery offers beautiful, made-to-order cakes and treats to make your special occasion a standout. An endless variety of freshly made Pan Dulce and steaming hot Bolillo rolls baked fresh all day. And don’t forget to try our delicious Tres Leches Cakes and Homemade Flan – the best in San Diego County!
Carniceria (Meat)
Our expert butchers at our full service meat counters can help you find the perfect cut. From specialty items to occasion cuts that are hard to find at other markets, we’ve got it available at Foodland Mercado.
Frutas y Verduras (Farm Fresh Produce)
Fresh from the farm, our produce department offers a wide variety of locally sourced products to provide you the freshest offerings from Carlsbad, El Centro and other surrounding communities. We also offer a variety of international specialties that you can’t find anywhere else.
